Someone told me today that they think Yoga is evil (HahAhaHA!!). Apparently they believe it's the meditation side of it which is wrong (and therefore ALL meditation is evil). I should probably add this person is a Xtian. It seems there's a lot of books being written filling feeble minds with all kinds of paranoia. This conversation only lasted all of 5 mins. I know when I'm beating my head against the wall.
Now I just feel frustrated about the way some religions rob people of the ability to think for themselves. To think there are SO many people out there who are too scared to live a full life because they've been told that something is evil, and they'll be condemned to hell if they do it. Guilt is a powerful tool.
When you consider the fact that this might be the only life we have (and all we know for sure is we are here right now), do you really want to die without experiencing this life to the fullest? Shouldn't that be the real sin?
