Today something really shitty happened. I was working on something when I stepped on my headphone lead and ripped the damn thing out of the socket of my digi002 console. I knew from how hard I tripped on it that something had to have broken. And yes it did. The headphone socket is inside the housing now, all loose, and probably will get worse till it falls in.
Fuck!
Now I have to have the damn thing sent to the service centre in fucking Melbourne. It took something like 2 months or more to get it back the last time when I needed a new power harness.
I'm more angry at myself than anything. I actually tried to take it apart to have a look if I could fix it but it doesn't look like I can. At least I didn't ruin it any further by doing that. It still worked when I put it all back together.

oh that sucks! I always seem to step on my headphones but it usually ends up with a camera falling to the ground. Luckily I am the equipment manager so I just say 'oh well' since one has never broken, yet that is!
