Going to see a friend play in a Santana (Inner Secrets) cover band tonight. It's his "i need to get paid" gig. He has 2 original bands (Friar Rush and Elias) and one other cover band (paying gig heh). I was still jamming with him when he told me about Friar Rush, who in his words, would crack me up. They're melodic metal and kinda cheesy. The first time I saw them I couldn't help laughing a little, but they're good fun.

I learnt a lot about drumming from him, which helped a lot with my drum programming (but I can't play a real kit). He's good to watch.
