Dude, they were one of my fave bands at the time! I've still got their CD in my collection (Along with 3 of their singles).
Saw them play about 4 times. It's a shame they stopped when they did.

I played the Phonecian club YEARS ago, in my other band The Merkins, supporting Urge Overkill and Powderfinger (When they were relatively unknown). Good times...

Feeling a little hungover, so I'm staying indoors (with the air-con blasting away, lots of Coke (the kind you drink) in the fridge, and my guitar in hand.

I shouldn't be feeling hungover ... I didn't drink that much last night. confused I didn't have enough money to drink that much.

Anyway ... Some tunes better be forth coming or I'll be making this mad face.

hehe yeh i used to hate going skating with my friends cuz skating for recreation and fun just wasnt what it was like for me, i ated going with friends cuz they would just want me to do something for them (ie some kinda jump or spin!)

May have fixed the car - I'm making a 30min trip to a friend's house a little later just to be sure. We had to replace a water hose (which splits every year) and replace a head gasket to stop what was becoming a major oil leak problem. I've only driven it a little bit so far so I can't say it's 100%.

Oh, you would not believe the kind of chili I can make. I start by making my own stock out of bones and spices and stuff, which is the most important part. Then I sear the pork (I use tenderloins, much better flavor than cheaper meat) and roast the red peppers and garlic to give them a deeper, smokier flavor. I use black and red beans, and sometimes add corn too, to go with the homemade cornbread that just has to be made with chili. It takes me all day, but it's totally worth it.

Everyone else at work just dumped some shit out of a can, so of course mine won.

In other news - I took a look at the car with my assistant (the old man) , and it looks like there's some work to be done. Without boring you with specifics ... it's something mechanics were paid to fix 2 years ago, they didn't do it properly, and it fucked up...
