First off, I'm not a fan of Mel Gibson's, but I saw Apocalypto last night and really liked it. It was quite a ride.

In other news - It must have been a while since I'd been to the movies or something because it cost $15.30! I don't remember it being more than 15-even last time I went. What the fuck?

I used to stop singing when I pull up at the lights, but now I'm kind of into it, especially if a bit of Zep has come on, or Sabbath, or any band that lends itself to really spazzing out. I figure I find it so hilarious when I see other people singing like weirdos, so it's okay to provide similar entertainment to others.

Yeah lyrics are the hard part.... For me it's trying to say something meaningful without it sounding forced or pompous! You know when music is good because it sounds right.. lyrics, not so much.... Maybe we should swap some lyrical stuff and mix it to each other's stuff... It might spark some inspiration. smile

Tool...new album is nothing special. There are a few moments when I'm like WOW, but overall it left me flat.

I have seen them 11 times met them 4 times and had a fight with Maynard. I knew them back in 1993, I guess I was an OGT. My friend was there promo manager in LA for Zoo Records and I was sent a copy of Opiate. It had just been released and was blown away.

I stayed with them until 2003 and everything tapered off. I still love the first 3 albums with Undertow still being a persoanl fave, but Mastodon fill that void and more for me now which is why I trekked to the US to see them and can't wait until April...fucking bliss!

I need a detox .... I didn't party all that hard last night, but I feel like it's all adding up a bit. It's doesn't help that I haven't slept more than 4 hours.

My car problems are over for the time being. I swapped my old heap (plus some cash) for a volvo from my old man, he buys smashed up ones and fixes them.

So yeah ... I'm a bloody Volvo driver now blush

Seriously though, it's not a bad car. So far I can't fault it (and I've looked)
