i think i will write a book........how to avoid going to work in august. this week i am going to west virginia.
this weekend i graduated school in NJ......spent 5 hours in a traffic jam...and wound up ...at FT podunk
Still no closer to doing our fair share overseas... i think my unit must have some sort of immunity to combat deployments
We had a slight problem....after we qualified with the mk 19 and m4 we still had 6000 (5.56) rounds left over.
There was only one solution.......of course we shot off all 6000 rounds in 5 minutes. The barrels, handgrips etc were smoking. Sandbags were burned right through, the wooden rests to set the weapons on when empty-had burn marks, slings were melted.....trees were cut in half
It was a beautiful thing.

Sounds very cathartic. I think going to a shooting range after a hard day would kick ass.
