But beware, it's like a one mile long party, most of the time, and you may not get out alive. You surely won't get out sober. I'm not certain how cool it would be without a few friends, but back in the day a few of my friends lived right on the cliff overlooking the ocean, and we had a freaking blast.
Oh so many memories, or rather vague recollections , of awesome weekends on that street.
A girl in a crust punk band (who I used to go to school with) died after a car wreck two months ago.
The bass player for Tiltwheel died in a wreck right after that.
The lead singer/songwriter for Stereolab died as well while cycling.
My guitarist's girlfriend was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last July (but at least she's going to win).

Yikes. I agree wholeheartedly... life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. (to quote mr ferris bueller.) Anyway, I actually am here to say "hey! your music choices are cool!" and you live in San Diego like me. How was your day?
So I'm with SadieM: I hate heat and the strip mall that is So. Cal, brah. The things that keep me here are my neice and nephew (3yo and 5yo) and my band.
I liked Portland, It was gray and leafy. San Diego is warm and bright. My friends say I'm fucked up because I'm Mexican and I hate the sun-- true.
