Had a shitty trip to Louisville , KY on Thursday that involved a 1.5 hr delay in takeoff from SD; a missed connection at 1 a.m. in Chicago; realizing we would miss our appointment in Louisville if we took the first avail. flight out of Chicago-- so my girl, her dad, and I, got a rental car (Chevy Tracker-- no room!!! Designed for a troupe of midgets and my girl and her dad are 6' and 6'3"!)and I drove through all of Indiana and into KY; gettin the most inhospitable service at "Quality Inn & Suites"...blah!
And to top it, Our bags didn't arrive until 10 min. before we had to drive to Ft. Knox.
It was worth seein' my future bro-in-law's face light up when he saw us at his Army Basic Training Grad. ceremony.
Lousville was a nice littlte city with some early 1800s architecture. $750 will get you 3bd 2ba, Garage, water, gas, and trash incl.
Go figure.
Flight back sucked-- puddle jumpers are shitty, and a packed flight from Chicago to SD with a lot of turbulence sucked worse. A disgusting lady who sat next to me made me puke!
