further reason for leaving my desk job..

so it occurred to me the other day.. when i was roaming around the ghetto fixing peoples shit in the pouring down rain... have i made a mistake?? although i hadn't been soaked to the bone yet.. the rain was coming down pretty good and i was getting wet and working in a really old beat down house, in a an old part of town that normal people would be scared to go into.. anyway.. as i was finishing up i saw something out of the corner of my eye that normally i would never run into.. and i forgot about the rain and possibly making a mistake and all that.. and decided to take a couple snap shots of what i saw..

this beauty was just sitting out in the rain.. it was a shame that it was headed down hill but somebody loved her at some point and took care of her to the point where she was at when i saw her... the paint was re-done and the interior looked great.. only the trunk was popped open and left open in the rain!!! and the rear sliding window in the back driver side was left open as well.. i wanted to take her home and give her some shelter but you cant win them all i guess..
and this is just a fraction of some of the beauties ive seen down in the so called "ghetto" in h-town... i've seen them and by them I mean cars worth mentioning.. in driveways, backyards, garages, mom and pop junk yards.. you name it.. my new job gives me access to whole new world that most ppl would shy away from.. but to me.. it's just what it is.. access.. access to things that i would never find even if i were looking for them..
anyway, just thought i would share..
