i got more than six hours of sleep last night. six hours sounds like enough, but when you sleep six hours a night for a few weeks, you're brain starts to feel foggy and gravity starts to suck your body down into the center of the earth. this morning i feel relatively refreshed... and i haven't even had coffee yet!
this week was: earth day celebration, movie night, tap room, paul wall @ the river & project mayhem @ lucy's, mr. fest (even though we only really stayed to watch funkotron... who you shoud search by the way.... stephen, the bassist, is an anthropology genius)... and i need a new car battery.
fridays are actually my favorite because i like to just stay home and watch bill maher.
ohhhhh! i got my backpack in the mail yesterday. for my trips! it is fucking rad and probably one of the best things i have ever purchased.
it's a lot bigger than it seems in the picture, but i will definitely be traveling light. i really just don't want to have to haul a suitcase around.
in exactly a month i will be on the volcanic island of omtepe in nicaragua studying monkeys!
