fun in the sun! no work, no school!
new clothes in the mail. so cute.
the main thing i wanted to come in today was a bathing suit, but the pieces were both sperately put on backorder... so i should be getting the bottoms in like four days and the top some time in the next 2 weeks. i really enjoy that i could get shoes, a dress, a shirt, and bathing suit for about $100.
clothes turn me into a maniac.
time to clean out my closet again!
today i went to the health education internship interview which turned out really well. the coordinator (who kept using intimidating strings of words and asking me if i had read certain books about social theory... no...) happened to be the head of the allies program, which is complementray to the campus organization for LGBTQ students. so we were talking about the health education internship and he ended up telling me he thought i should do an allies internship instead - which would be awesome. he would basically assign me books on "queer theory", i would help organize events, analyze & try to change the "campus climate" (our campus is sooo conservative), and be a member of the LGBTQ board, etc etc. so i need to talk to my advisor when school starts up again and make sure everything would work out. yeah yeaaaah. what an exciting internship
last night james & i went to see some julliard students perform some crazy ass avant-garde music, dance, and monologues. the best parts were the male + male dance performance and a random bluesy gospel song at the end. everything else was... crazy 
oh oh! and i turned in my belize papers/payment... so i'm actually going! 
adventure!!!!!
