listening to: bis - dead wrestlers (reminds me of wade!)
so, i think my favorite part about texas state is the people - and the parties - class too i suppose - which is also what kind of drives me nuts. my week is pretty much plotted out...
monday (tonight!)-fernando is having a costume party complete with pin the tail on the brontosaurus, bobbing for apples, and pinatas (as well as a keg) awwwwwww
tuesday-mandatory account executive meeting @ 11am sharp (scary... we got a memo), tentative doctor's appointment, yoga
wednesday-class all day from 10am (work in the middle) until 9:15pm
thursday-tai chi, broken social scene
friday-anthropology advising appointment, jill's co-op is having a costume party
saturday-tanya is having a costume party
sunday-rest? my dad was thinking about going down to mexico for a day...
monday-french test #4 & western civ test #2
tuesday(HALLOWEEN!)-russell's bday costume party
yeah. it's a good thing i did my puerto rico paper last week on accident
and we're looking at multiple costumes here. i can't be leeloo 4 times in a row. we shall see...
i'll post pictures because i'm sure there will be plenty
but, as of now, i need to do laundry and take a shower
wait-
MUSIC QUESTION!
last night i stayed in fbg and watched a bunch of movies (it's so cold there!):
prozac nation (i soooo identified with this movie it was CRAZY! i want to read the book)
jarhead (the oil field scenes were some of the most amazing shots i have ever seen... and jake gyllenhaal. UGHGFJJDKSSKLALASIED!)
1/4 of cinderella man (then i got bored)
and shop girl (jason shwartzman = so cute, claire danes = killer wardrobe, steve martin's narration = super lame)
point being -
"hot tears" is the name of the band touring in shop girl. i have NO hot tears on my computer. so why did i know the songs so well? do they go under a different name? i'm too lazy to look it up
(doesn't this face make you think of S&M?)
