i was really pumped to go to french this morning. i dug out my comfortable old vans that i've had since i was 16 because it looked all slick outside due to rain. well, i opened the door and it was absolutely pouring. we're talking sheets of rain. it so happened that i had left my umbrella (bought specifically so i wouldn't be stuck in situations like this) in my car. boo! i didn't want to run to my car lost somewhere in the parking lot and get absolutely drenched and then wait at the bus stop probably getting even more drenched, so i didn't go to class today which means i need to find a way to get the homework for tomorrow. i'm listening to radio france to make up for it. i still need to get on the bus and go to work today anyway. i also have to go by some businesses today to discuss ads and collect $
today would be a good day to just stay at home and read

in other news, today is scott's 21 birthday! exciting! he has a bunch of tests and papers due today though, which sucks. i would tell you what i got him, but it's a several part surprise. kind of like hanukkah


i'm so happy that it's still raining. rain makes me feel cozy and productive. like i could read finnegans wake or something (the internet is turning super badass. finnegans wake online? whaaat?)

after work i am going to play betty crocker. i'll post my creation later
