For all those who drink, if you get drunk and act like a fucking asshole, tough guy or slut, you can not apolgize the next day and think all will be forgiven. When you are an adult you make a conscious choice to drink and you can make the same decision to stop before these events occur. I am so sick of people blaming their behavior on alcohol and not owning their actions. These acts have consequences and can have a profound effect on the people around you.
I am 28 Years old and have never drank, I have seen what it can do to people and it makes me sick that people would put themselves in a position where all control is lost. I do not expect everyone to live the sober lifestyle but I do expect people to remain in control of their actions and emotions while under the influence of alcohol. I partly blame the media for glorifying alcohol and drug use. I respect anyone who lives the straight edge lifestyle and makes a personal choice to be the best person they can be.
If you don't have the balls to do something sober you really should not find liquid courage as the remedy to being social or tough or a slut. I am so sick of hearing girls say I don't remeber what I did last night and I hooked up with a random guy. I respect all women and it greatly pains me to see someone who I respect put themselves in such vulenerable postions. I have often heard guys say "Get them drunk and then you are all set" News flash fuckers, that is incredibly wrong, I personally will not take advantage of a girl under the influence, it is just not right.

and I just read your entire post, and very much agree. After being a (quite young) destructive alcoholic for a few years, and quitting cold at the age of 21, I know what you mean.
people create actions, but depend upon alcohol to place their blame....
