today was kagome's birthday party. i overslept because i took an elavil last night because my stomach was hurting. i went to mom's & did some cleaning. gabe helped. then we went & hung balloons on poles & stuff. the party went well. kagome got some lovely gifts including a walker/rider, a pooh-bear water baby, a toy tv remote, some clothes, & more. i had fun. i took a lot of pictures. i'll post some when i feel more up to it.

after the party gabe, me, & the kids went to nikki's mom's house to swim. it was more trouble than it was worth. we kept getting bit by bugs & i was worrying too much about the kids. we didn't stay long.

now we're home & gabe & i are doing our best to not be at each other's throat, but somehow we keep turning every little discussion into an argument. i found out that there is a place in tuscaloosa that does marriage counseling (income-based), so i might check into that soon. we need something, some kind of outside help, or i don't think we'll make it.

other than all that, i'm just feeling drained & still stressed about money as always. i'll feel better once my credit cards are paid off & our power bills are caught up & i've taken care of the babysitting situation for the first week & 1/2 of school. at least, i hope i will...
