totally understand. for me, nyc was that place. it just fit. will have been 10 years in march. i can't believe it when i say it aloud.
i can advocate for sf, where i grew up; for portland, where i hope to live one day because it's mellow and awesome; and for montreal, but just to visit because i always have a good time there. and chicago, where i'm visiting friends this week and causing trouble and soaking in good people.

The book's really good. I haven't seen the movie yet. I'm blanking on who Leslie Howard is, but I know I have seen movies with him. I want to say he was one of the leads in Mutiny on the Bounty and, for some reason, I think he's in a Hitchcock movie. I'll probably see the movie sometime in the next few weeks.
As it turns out....he was not in any Hitchcock or Mutiny, but he was in Gone With the Wind and The Scarlet Pimpernel.....that's probably why I know the name.

I just got my wisdom teeth puled out yesterday so I feel your pain! (see blog for pictures ugh)
Adding a youtube video is simple, copy the youtube url of the page that the video is on and when you're editing your blog there is a link above the smilies that says YouTube. Click it and it will ask you to put the url you copied into the window that pops up.
And bam, you are finished!
