I like when people shoot with film because it makes everything soft and honest. After all the bullshit, what's left is the film. I like it with nothing to hide behind.

I just read Rat Girl, which is a memoir of this woman Kristen Hersh who was in the nearly-famous band Throwing Muses. I like reading other accounts of bands and the transition between childhood and adulthood. I feel like this existence I have has been forever, everything before being a sick, crazy lady who lives in the attic was just a daydream.

Today wasn't supposed to be, but it's a day off. So it can be a music day, as soon as I figure out how to get off the bed.
