Happy Hanukkah everyone.

My last post- I could try to explain, but it'd work better if you just came over to see for yourself. I sculpt ceramic things, using coils. The bondage baby is infant sized, sculpted in earthenware, painted in oil, tied in yarn. Here is my prototype:



I've long wanted to tie up a clay person. There's more to the story...but to make a long one shorter, I took baby

and put her in this dark stairwell and then surrounded her by these other little friends:

The response was a mixed response. The content made some people uncomfortable, and the figurativeness was just hardly acceptable, but it made it through the critique ok.

So just for some context:




I have a head ache. I'm almost done with the semester.

Is everyone doing ok?
