loudbutpointless

woke up this morning with a plan to get all the boring stuff done but after 5 mins i got bored so mouched about instead and made a new plan to do all the boring stuff after i got back from lunch with a mate.
His missus is six months pregnant and it hasnt been easy on her,ive got quite good at thinking before i answer a question she asks as most are double edged and the wrong response can lead to her going mental.Midway through lunch though i really messed it up
"How's the lamb?"
"Nice",Her eyes narrow and i realise out of all the descriptions i could have used i'd chosen the one that in her mind meant she heard "I've found better lamb on the pavement outside a kebab shop on a saturday night"......so i follow on with
"I love the way you studded it with garlic",Her face relaxes and inside im cheering my sidestep but then
"So you want some more then?",im already stuffed but if i say no she'll accuse me of not liking it and might go off on one so i do the only thing i can say yes and keep saying yes until she stops offering.
I feel like ive eaten a flock and all i can do now is lay here.....i will do the boring stuff tommorrow now
