there's too much morbidity around me today:

there's a boy missing at my school so there were helicopters, cops, and ambulances, and people in bright orange vests combing the campus today. he's my friend's roommate and all are worried so i hope he shows up.

my grandmother sent me a letter telling me that she's had dizzy spells and memory problems. she's a member of a group called 'the hemlock society' that assists in assisted society. she told me that as soon as her mental sharpness goes she's going to call them. it makes me uncomfortable to know in advance that she plans to commit suicide, but i also don't want her to be in pain. it's her choice.

i went to listen to four survivors from hiroshima talk. it was so fucking terrible hearing them talk about seeing all their family members die in front of them.
