want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support.

Olive was much more than a pet to me. She was a large part of my support system. With her, I was able to survive illness, depression and abuse. On the days when I didn't want to go outside, let alone leave my bed, she was able to coax me outside for a few minutes and then read on the couch or hang out with her.

In the last two years, I was rebuilding myself and she is the cornerstone of my progress and success. Two of my three chronic illness are under control and sympton-free. My depression requires half of my meds and no counselling. I returned to school and was able to earn a spot in the limited enrollment program of Medical lab Science (starting in September).

For all of these things and more, I am grateful that we found each other. At times, I am afraid of facing the future without her but then I realize that not going on to be a happy success would be an insult to her memory.
