TV is pretty darn near the last bastion of joy for me.

I just re-read the first sentence, briefly questioned whether I spelled "bastion" correctly or not, then re-lived the climactic scene from the neverending story where the childlike empress "breaks the fourth wall" of the book, and shouts out to "bastian." And he doesn't believe it could be happening, but, she keeps talking to him.
God that's fucking good.
