well, i'm home. and this trip was an experience. i learned a great deal about alot of things, and i plan to change an arangement or two. if you don't want to read a rant, skip the spoiler.

well, my ex-wife has struck out. by this i have three things she did to limit my time with my daughter. the first two were mentioned, but i'll refresh the story.
my ex-wife decided to have sara's birthday party without me there, and planned it that way. i told her what days i was getting off, and what days i would be there in december, in january, and again at the begining of last week, so i COULD be there for the party....strike one.
i could not see my daughter on sunday night because she was going to see her great grandma wolfe. you have to plan WAY ahead to go see them, because they do not like sudden visits....strike two.
on tuesday night i asked what they were doing on wednesday night, sara's actual birthday. she responded "we're going out to dinner with shawn to celebrate his sons birthday." hmm, ok. when sara woke up from her nap on wednesday afternoon, i said "you guys have fun tonight." and kissed my daughter goodbye, because i was leaving in the morning. i didn't even get asked to come along to go out with them....on my daughters birthday.....strike three.
along with the unreal things she has learned (oh, like learning to hit tyler and being encouraged to do so.) her "mine, mine, mine" atitude has gone way beyond the limits of a normal child her age. she is only around her cousin and kaylee, and she was NEVER this bad even when she was in daycare.
when sara comes home in august, she will stay here and go to school here. i am going to put her in private school, and i will be poor from then on out. but she is more than worth it.
when i was in indy, i stayed with a great friend of mine doug. his wife and kids are the greatest. there are not alot of people in this world that i am envious of, but he is on a small list. his kids are the sweetest kids anyone could ask for. he has what i want, a family full of love and joy. he told me alot of things that no one had told me about tyler and carols relationship. aparently he treats her like crap. i can see this because he makes no effort to express any feelings towards her. i know this might be because i'm there, but come on. sorry, ranting again.
.....one day i will find what he has, for myself. on that day i will be happy. 
As long as you're a good person you shouldn't be envious of what other people have cuz it might not be what it seems. Just because things look or seem perfect doesn't mean they are. Take care sweetie.
