I cannot believe it is May already!
The Muse concerts were AMAZING! Vegas was a nice intro, but being front row in Oakland was indescribable! I already have tickets to the show in Sacramento in September and I am super excited to see them again.
Work has been getting ridiculous... CVS bought prescription files from an independent pharmacy in town (so, we basically bought the pharmacy except we are not keeping the building), so all of their former patients are now CVS patients. Of course, they have the option to transfer their medications to any pharmacy of their choosing, but there are 3 CVS' in town, so we are retaining most of them. So, we increased our workload while keeping the same hours for the staff...it is a little stressing on us. It use to be rare that we are unable to fill all the prescriptions for the day, and now, we usually leave at least 2-3 pages (15 prescriptions per page) in the queue. It is ridiculous!
I bought some new computer components a couple of weeks ago and had some trouble getting it all to work. After 3 trips to Fry's and a lot of frustration, I finally figured out that it was the motherboard that was the problem... I ended up getting a new one at Fry's and am sending the one I got online back... I decided to finally move on from Windows XP and actually paid for Windows 7 (I've never paid for an OS since I've been using PCs!). It is taking some getting use to but it is pretty nice. I got some new speakers today, so my rig is pretty nice now. It runs a little hot during gaming, so the next upgrade will be a case with better cooling, but that might not be for a while. I need to start saving some money...
I have the next few days off from work, but I do have to go in on Monday to take care of some things left over from Friday. I cannot wait for my vacation in June. I'll be going back to Vegas with my dad and my grandparents for a week. My dad has been bugging me to take a trip with him for like 5 years, so I owe him. It's just that he is cheap with things, but when I vacation, I like to live it up. He said that he doesn't want me to pay for anything, but I hope I can convince him otherwise once we're out there. We'll see...
