It is the start of my long week. I'm working today thru Sunday. It has been getting busier everyday, it seems. At the end of last week, I even had to go in on Saturday and clean up a couple of things. The other pharmacist sent me a text msg on Monday and said that she already did 130+ scripts and still had a couple of hours of work left. That had to be a record! I've barely gone over 100!
I was training a technician since I started and he just finished his hours last Friday, so now we'll even have 1 less person in the pharmacy... He couldn't do too much, but at least he could answer the phones and help get the drive thru person started (he couldn't use the register since he was not an employee).
I hope this is just fallout from the holidays and that it starts to slow down again. I can't handle the pressure! Wish me luck!
