I want to so badly attend an SG event, but I can't seem to find out when the next open event is. I'm really thinking of starting a South Jersey group, but I dunno if anyone will have interest.
by the way, I'm vegetarian, but I lean more to the vegan side, even though I still have leather/suede shoes and eat cheese and lard-cooked refried beans at Taco Bell.
I'd be vegan, but it's inconvenient to me and I don't have enough commitment to graduate to a vegan diet and lifestyle. But at least I'm very aware of what I'm eating and feel guilty about it all the time.
I have never been much of a reader, but when I read the first line of the book "girlfriend in a coma" I couldn't stop turning the pages for three hours, with a smoke break in between each hour. I'm a little bit past half way and I'm still in anticipation. The author has a way with words and phrases and such, but I"m not really paying any attention to descriptions. I feel like I'm reading a movie or something. I'm kinda surprised no one recommended to me William S. Burroughs...when I saw one of his books, I immediately thoght Kurt Cobain, and was like.....uh...this one's next!
