What a difference an hour and a half of cleaning makes. I vacuumed the floor, put the vacuum away, then did my bathroom. When I got that done, I went to get something under the cupboard under my kitchen sink, when *plop*, some powder dishwasher detergent fell on this little rug I got for the floor. Ok, no biggie, so I grabbed the vacuum, and vacuumed, except when I would turn it off, a little bit of the powder would come back out. So I emptied the canister which was basically full of dust, turned the vacuum back on, and it basically picked up the rug!
lololol....ah, I'm so easily amused. You know, I am a slob, but I'd like to think I'm on the clean side of slob. My problem isn't dirty dishes or dirty toilets, but rather clutter. Atm receipts, bill statements, cards, basically any kind of paper you can think of, I don't seem to want to put it in its proper place and as a result, it accumulates. I'm the same way with clothes. I am obsessed with keeping my body clean which is so contradictory of my current lifestyle.
I'm also obsessed with the latest Incubus CD...rawk on! Is anyone else anticipating the new System of a down album? You know, heres my thing with them: Rage Against the Machine, powerful lyrics, powerful music....but anti government slogans don't mix well with begging for your money and evolving on the side of MTV...or at least thats why I think they went downhill. So here's system, powerful music, mediocre lyrics with a lot of spalshes of very powerful anty government/society lyrics...go visit their website and its buy buy buy....but all their songs aren't about rebellion or political...they actually have some songs about some really pointless shit, but the music is fucking phenomenal. I'm always led to believe that Serj purposely puts lyrics in there that make no sense. Music is definitely first, but lyrics also make the song (in my opinion, others have argued with me about that.) But who knows, I woulnd't be surprised if they went the same way Rage went....

xmilitaryxmikex:
hope not, but I think System has been doing a decent job of trying to stay out of the limelight and not get caught up with the college campus Zapatista bullshit. Everyone knows that rebellion lasts as long as people are shocked or follow the cause. If it's a cause the whole doesn't agree with or is affected by, nobody cares (sad to say).
