lost_girl

i came home from work early today because i didn't feel well.
some old not feeling well that has haunted me for years.
it just lurks in the shadows and everynow and then i catch a glimpse of it and i am left standing still, barely breathing, hoping it won't realise i am there and it will leave.

i slept restlessly all afternoon and as the sun went down.
you wandered through my mind every now and then.
watching me.
leaning closely to feel my breath.
watch curiously as my brow creased with thought.
listened as i made quiet noises.
you would walk away...
...but you always returned.
