The end is nigh.
I have one more vocal comp to do and my mammoth editing task is complete. By this time tomorrow I'll be done at last, I can't wait. To follow - a picture of what the last few weeks have done to me, I'm one hairy fucking cornflake.
On Monday I'm off to Black Box for a week. The one good thing about this session is working at night. Not to mention the fact that I have an excuse to start drinking early in my working day ("what do you mean 'put down the wine Dew', it's ten pm for fuck's sake!), but I'll also have the majority of the day to enjoy the sun, which I hope will be out in force given the weather the area has had for the last while. So, a good week should be in store.
Also quite interested to see how this album turns out in the final mix, it's going a bit skew-whif for me at the moment, with the introduction of some cheesy 80's synths at the behest of the artist. Hmmm (strokes (freshly bearded) chin). Jury's out for me at the moment,
In other news, off to Amsterdam at the end of April with the wonderful, amazing and ever so gorgeous pearlbass. That's going to be such a nice break. By that time I should have a total of two albums mixed, so I will be in dire need for a break.
Other than that, Ireland still sucks and I can't wait to get the fuck out of here. Grrr.
