I'm meeting a workmate, his wife, and a friend of theirs for brunch. If this doesn't sound like a setup attempt, I don't know what does.

I have never been involved in a brunch before. How on earth will I know what cutlery to use for each course?

I'm back, my computer has arrived and I have a cable long enough to reach the router. I need a desk.

One way or another, I'm getting drunk this weekend.

Right, this is my last weekend as a resident of SLO, so I'll mostly be getting drunk. It's wierd, I've only been here a year, but it feels like home, I'm so sad to leave everyone. I *am* excited about moving to Seattle tho'.

Last night, I narrowly avoided an embarrasing situation with a friend of mine who got really drunk and spent all night coming on to me. Luckily she continued to get so drunk, she was sick and I got her a lift home.
