Right, apologies for the lack of updates 'round here, I had all the job/visa-stress, then a friend visiting. But I'm all yours again now. Hugs all round

So, for those that don't know, I've accepted a job in Redmond, right next to Seattle. I should be moving/starting within the next month

M came to stay on the last leg of her round the world tour. We ate out loads, sat on the beach, got drunk twice, fell over/picked each other up, climbed up a couple of hills and went to see the elephant seals at San Simeon. We did all this, and looked glamorous doing it in our hired convertible. I ate a record quantity of sushi on Thursday.

If I get the official receipt of my visa transfer in good time, I might go home to blighty for a week.

Today in the post I got my last pay packet and the the latest Idlewild CD. It's all good.
