Sometimes people ask How can you not like the holidays, its a time to make people happy with gifts and spend time with friends & family. I guess I would be a good old fashion scrooge if I didn't like that but I'd like to comment on this because the truth is that the holidays aren't really that, not for everyone. Some of us have to listen to our father decide what employees are getting a Christmas bonus and which arent. Some of us know that we aren't getting any Christmas gifts other than a few shirts from our moms. To some the Holidays remind us that another year has passed by that were getting older and are living unfulfilled lives.
On another note, I found out that the battery charger I need for my camera only comes with a battery and other stuff as a whole set. It costs a lot so I was able to purchase it for cheaper online but plus shipping and everything it still cost me over $40. Its not much but I dont make that much money personally. It kinda made me wonder why it was so important that I got the camera working anyway. I just thought keeping a journal and having a profile wouldnt be worth it if I didnt have pictures, but is really worth it? I didnt really have an answer for that but I bought it anyway

I see your point about the holidays. Its not easy or good for everyone, and the fact that its supposed to be the happiest time of the year makes it even worse I think. If I'm feeling grumpy I hate all the cheer.
