Time for a life post I suppose, gotta jot this stuff down so I dont forget about it all someday. Most people who have talked to me know I have started up Karate. I did this to try and help me try and focus my thinking and my energy into something positive, and so far it has been paying off. Over the past weekend I earned my Yellow belt, was a pretty good workout and I am still feeling the effects of it today. What I had not expected was to meet a girl I would be attracted to who was taking the Karate classes. For one Im not good on how to get someone to know Im interested in them without feeling like some kind of weirdo, and two I dont really think she will feel anything for me other then as a friend at best. And thought I would like to see her other then at Karate, I cant seem to ask for her cell number or see if she wants to make plans some other day or something like that. So far her and I have gone to a coffee place downtown a couple times after Karate is over, but Im guessing its because she feels sorry for me or something like that.
Well I didnt get to talk to her after the test, and tonight she is turning 21 and said she would be going out drinking. Besides wanting to buy her a drink I did something that is probally really dumb and bought her a boombox CD/TAPE/Radio because she dosent have one in her room, and cant listen to music to fall asleep to. I tried to call her house on Saturday but that could have been really dumb because I think she might have a problem with guys harrassing her or something. I really am not sure, and I dont want to be to pushy since Im just starting to know her. Whats really funny though is she lives on the same street I do so she would be "The girl down the street" to me.... did I mention Im 5 years older then her?
I dont think she is interested honestly, or maybe im being to pushy /shrug. Its just been a looooooong time since Ive been with anyone and its starting to get to me in some ways (yeah horney as hell FTL). Im probally thinking about this to much, Ive even gone so far and to wonder if a relationship with someone in class would affect my training, but Id like to think a relationship could be strengthened with two people doing it together. I dunno, either way she gets a CD player tomorrow :p And I get to go home alone as usual /sigh. Think i watch to many Anime series where a girl and guy happen to meet each other and live happily ever after i suppose, no such luck in my life. Hopefully ill post again soon, with whichever way this drama ends up.
