I liked it not better then the original but differently its not cheesy like evil dead or evil dead two. I has a lot of parrallels to the original story with out being a direct remake i would say its a reimagining. it is an aocutal horror movie not a cult film. it is more gorey then the orignal however the gory parts are simular to the original just now special effects have come so far that it makes it much more beleivable so a better watch. i really love theatircal make up so that added another level to the movie. now dont get me wrong i did just and stuff it was scary for me however i am a big wuss when it comes to movies. i help my freinds hand the entire time. but i would deffinatly tell every one to go as well as go again
