Yesterday was full of soulsearching, to such an extent and so successfully that I couldn't decide whether to be elated by the magnitude of the results or depressed by the magnitude of the things that are fucking up my life. But then my roommate made me breakfast, and later on Su came over and we watched School of Rock, so I decided to be happy. To paraphrase Silent Bob in Clerks: "You know, there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude. But they don't all bring you movies and cuddle with you."
Today I go to work. Just when I think this throat illness should LEAVE NOW AND NEVER COME BACK, it just keeps hanging on. I'm apparently not gonna get rid of it by staying at home, and even though my manager told me I could take today off, I can't afford it. Oh well. LET'S SEE HOW YOU LIKE A DAY OF WORK, THROAT! That'll teach it.
