I was in a bad mood earlier. Work was boring. The bus let me off in the wrong spot. I walked in the snow. I went home. I listened to MC Face. I surfed the net. I thought about my day off tomorrow. I got happy.

But still I am worried about my friends.

that Boo pic just makes me so happy. somehow i have to incorporate it in my SG profile.

anyway...quicksilver is something you NEED to read, and SOON. it deals with the shaftoes and the bolstroods and the waterhouses (wha-ta-hooses), and they're doing a LOT more. enoch root even shows up, and i'm trying to figure out how he's at least 400 years old. so far it's a great read, even though i know almost nothing about 17th century europe.

thank you for recommending Martin's "Song of Fire and Ice." i seem to recall it having been mentioned in passing by a few people, but unless i write something down, it usually gets lost. i'll definitely check it out, as i'm always looking for new things to read. Forgotten Realms is fluff, but Drizzt is pretty kickass, and Salvatore is pretty good at writing fight scenes. might i suggest reading "the death gate cycle" series from Weis and Hickman (also writers of the dragonlance series). it is a little hard to get into, but don't give up until the middle of the first book if you choose to check it out. there's a lot of jargon to learn, but once you do, it's amazing fun.

and re: your article....your bit about SW:G is hilarious. though the game is even MORE fun when you take into consideration all the bugginess and lag when loading the cities. and the comp i was using was pretty tricked out too. i have to admit though, stabbing to death one of those moo-things by the river was pretty fun. that's about all i played though.

let's see. besides boo, my hamster before him was brave hamster musashi. the one before him was named ashlar after an anne rice character. i like pop culture names for my hammies.

hm. it's not even 9am, and i'm attempting a coherent post. i apologize for the rambling. maybe i'll try again after my shower.
(oh, and i'm feeling much better, thank you. those z-packs work wonders. now i just have a persistent hack and a bit of a stuffy head.)
