It always amazes me how customers can act sometimes. Sometimes I would rather not have a sale at all than to put up with some of the shit that people think is acceptable. When you start out an exchange by saying "I'm going to test out your _______," and you spout out some nonsense that doesn't make sense, you obviously need to be educated on how this works and what my product is.

Said customer starts out without an introduction, cuts me off during my greeting, and says he is going to test out my product. You're in my house, these are my rules, you don't do shit unless I say you can. Second, you show me some respect. I'll treat you like a professional 100% of the time, and all I ask back is to be treated like a professional back. Whether you buy my shit or not, be respectful. Third, if you're going to be the big fucking man on campus, know what the shit you're talking about. When you throw together all the buzz words that don't go together and call things by their wrong names, you obviously don't know as much as you think you know.

After that painful introduction, I had to inform the poor fool that the product he named does not exist. The features he named do not come on the particular model he identified, and he even called that by the wrong name anyways. After attempting to correct him, he tells me that I must not know my own shit, so I proceed to take him to the website where he claims he saw it described as I mentioned, and after correcting him, he says he's getting impatient and wants to test it out.

At this point, its all I can do to not straighten my tie and tell him to escort himself out the door. Instead, for whatever reason, and I deeply regret it, I give him the demo and tour, and he fucking offers me half of its price. Over an hour wasted. You can kindly get the fuck out. Thanks.
