so just finished my shift at the pub in the grassmarket that I work at. Eight and a half hours really shouldn't be that draining but people are such assholes. I'm starting to think that I get it more than the other staff but maybe thats just me being paranoid. My view of the situation is that people in general like the feeling of power of another individual and so they see this small kid with long blonde hair and figure this is a good time to show off to their mates by complaining about whatever they can think up.

YOU ENGLISH BASTARDS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ALES SO DONT FUCKING TELL ME TO POUR IT AT AN ANGLE OR THAT ITS GOT TOO MUCH HEAD. ITS NOT FUCKING CARLSBERY DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?

And I am so painfully polite to these assholes but this stops here. I talked to the other guy who was on with me who said that I will really only get fired for stealing money so the second time people piss me off I will tell them that if they do it again I wont serve them and will tell the others not to serve them and if they do anything in excess of a third time I will ask george the doorman to throw them out. If people will behave like scum I will treat them like scum.

For Christ sake aswell why do we never get in any cute girls who do not look like barbie and can stand up and order their drink without slurring. It would be a nice distraction. The girl who works in the kitchen is kindof cute as well but she strikes me as kind of psychotic and I'm meant to be keeping myself to myself at the moment. Or so I tell myself. *repeats to self* am no longer a whore, am no longer a whore.

Will try new strategy tommorow and report back. I think it won't bother me so much if I'm actually talking back.
