Okay so it has been a while since i updated.
stuff
1) coursework all done just have exams to do now. Have enough time to revise now that i've decided not to start work until the 20th and the boss has said that's okay. just need to get the head down.
2) tried to do the 'may dip' (old st andrews uni tradition). Basically the idea is that you go into the north sea at first light on 1 May. Its not obligatory to be naked but some people are. Haven't done it last three years because year 1) can't remember why i didn't year 2) was out of town 3) was out of the country. This year I braved a variety of drunken assholes which was not easy considering that this is my 6th week without any alcohol. Had a joint at one point which made things seem less irritating for a bit but then it wore off and the place we were at was busy so if I'd lit up i would have been pounced on by a million drunken strangers. When someone almost fell on me I had decided to go home and cut my losses but Jon who i was with suggested i go home and chill out and he'd call me at first light when it was time to go to the sea. Waited till 5.30 playing computer games and watching telly and the bastard never called. Apparently he got fucked up and forgot. Has apologised so its cool but am annoyed to have the lack of sleep without any point to it.
3) Things are looking good with my significant ex. We went out to dinner and she crashed on my spare bed and everything was really nice with the possible exception of a piece of chicken turning up in my vegtable curry. Made me realise again how good she is for me and how much of my shit she has put up with. Unfortunately i was slightly sleazy at one point but i've apologised and she said its cool. I appear to have no self control when it comes to certain things which is annoying.
4) Working out and diet etc is all going fairly well apart from fact that i've been eating at really strange hours last few nights.
5) went to get tattoo done but we couldn't figure out what font they had used on my back to start with. Have decided to get it done in ancient greek instead of scottish gaelic because it just doesn't translate well enough into scottish gaelic. Will use a different font to the one on my back. Just need to get the ancient greek translation now.
