Oh man. You have lots to see, my wee friend. Intermezzo is on Telegraph. It's maybe the block next to Rasputin on the opposite side of the street. I think that's right. . . anyway, it's a little cafe of sorts with really big and cheap sandwiches, soup, and salads. So so good. Oh man.
And Berkeley Bowl is the most amazing grocery store in the world. I shit you not, it really is. I don't know, though. . . .You're Scottish, they don't seem to be big on fresh fruits and veggies here (not that I blame them). So you might not like it.
But you should at least check it out. It's down on Shattuck, like near where it turns into Adeline? Something like that.
