I spent the bulk of this weekend marking papers for my TA class. I need to do some reading, but I've been pretty burned out. I just want to get this term over with so that I can focus on writing my term papers and not worry about going to class. I work better on my own time.
I also can't paint any miniatures until a) I get more colours and b) I get more minis. I finished the first two I got two weeks ago. I can't do more to those without more colours, and I should get a few more figures to keep me busy. I like painting minis. It relieves stress; I can be very meticulous about it. It's soothing.
I hate giving out D's when I'm marking papers. I'm not even teaching the class, so it's not even a failure on my part. It's just sad.
On Friday I felt sick, so I took off before my TA class and my lab hours. Paul filled in for the latter, so I'll have to trade him sometime soon. It shouldn't be a problem.
Financial issues have come in the way of going to San Francisco for the APA conference. It's just too expensive. Next year, it's in Portland, and I won't have a mountain of debt to pay off from moving. Now that said mountain has been swallowed by the fissure of my student loans, I'd really rather not accumulate a new mountain.
Tara and I treated ourselves to some truffles for a (late) Valentine's celebration. Not much of a celebration, just buying truffles from the Godiva in the mall. It's the little things, though.
I think I ramble some. It's over now.
How's everyone else doing?
