So, right now I've just woken up, and I need to get cracking on one of a number of projects in front of me, but I can afford to get started slowly today. I've got the whole day free of other concerns after all.

Classes are getting very hectic now since the term is about to end. I'm looking forward to the December 20 when my last paper i due, but there's still alot of work to be done before that. For starters, I've got to write said paper.

Things are going ok for us. We've got a futon to replace the broken air mattress, so last night we the first night I had slept in something like a bed in about three months. Unfortunately, the futon is only a double, so we don't know what we're going to do if we get into another relationship. My girlfriend has hooked up with one of our neighbours, but she usually goes over to his house. If we meet a girl who's interested in us both, well, I guess we'll have to burn that bridge when we come to it.

We are both a lot happier in Vancouver than we were in New Orleans. It really was time for a change.

I made red beans and rice last night, and one of my friends from the Philosophy department came over for dinner. It was a pleasant evening, and everyone liked the food. I like cooking alot, especially complicated things or stuff that takes a while. While Tara's family is visiting, I have to make kung pao chicken at least once. I'll be out of classes by then, so I'll certainly have the time.
