To further our post-exam/term paper celebrations, we went out for drinks with Robin. As usually happens when I go out for drinks with Robin, I am drunk. Funny how I like to post to lj when non-sober, but not as much when sober. These things happen.

We went to this place nearby, Lucky's. There's so many decent places in this neighborhood, but I like Lucky's more than some of the other ones. The food was good, and the bartender was cool. We cut up a good bit, then headed home.

Tomorrow is the game (finally). Looking forward to that. I hope we play Jessie's game because I don't know if I'm in the mood to make an Exalted character, but I probably should start on one soon. Need ink for the printer first. Heck, I still need to transfer the book to this computer. Maybe do that tonight before I pack up the lappy.

all is well with the Ubuntu install. I did have to do a fresh install, but it didn't take me as long to set up everything that I got actually working. I still haven't gotten the windows computers to see my desktop, but I'm pretty sure my previous network problems stemmed from the firewall. Still working on how to deal with that, and I haven't gotten my PDA to sync yet.

I need to practice the bass more.
