For not having done too much today, I have actually gotten something important done. I managed to get through most of the 600 word paper I have to turn in on Tuesday, and that was my main headache this weekend. I have more reading to do which I will turn to shortly, but having the bulk of that paper done takes a huge load off.
Pandora.com is a great website. Now, I have no problem with downloading music. In fact, I think it's great. ARRRRRRRR! Anyway, there have been times where I've been curious about a band, usually because someone makes a recommendation, but I just don't take the time to download some stuff, then listen to it, then decide whether I like it or whether I need to just download something else. Pandora.com offers an interesting solution. It's like an internet radio station, but you put in a band and it finds them in the Music Genome Project, and beings playing things by that band and things that sound like things by that band. It also lets you tell it what you hate and what you like of what it plays, so you can tailor the station. Then, if I must have something, I can just go out and download it, but I at least get to hear it first.
