I'm experiencing very similar things every day and make very similar or even the same observations. Considering this and the fact that I live in Germany ant not in the US is just another proof that we obviously really are doomed. Cute kitten by the way.

People are terrible everywhere.  But there's a reason the rest of the world hates us over in America.  It's because a huge majority of people here are dumb, racist, greedy jerks.  My sister lives in Heidelberg, and she says that Germans are much more developed than we are.  I'm seriously considering moving there too.
