Autumnal Equinox has just passed, and you know what that means. Malty beer, colorful trees, Halloween parties, scarves and sweaters (for most of the Northern Hemisphere, anyway), and a healthy dose of prog, gothic, thrash, and melodic death metal. Here's a playlist directly from my iTunes that matches the foreboding and mysterious season upon us. Cheers!

1) "Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel" - Behemoth

2) "Ouroborus"

Summer fucking sucks.

Each day is the fucking same.

At least I have beer.

cersei:
This is sad😔 summer didn't start very good for me either but it seems to be better now
lordhypnos:
Sorry to make you feel sad...I just don't like summer at all.  There are a lot of bad memories I'm forced to revisit.  But I'm glad it's improved for you!

Thanks for following me back! And I know you said nobody would read your comment but I did!

lordhypnos:
No problem.  Thanks for adding me in the first place.  I saw your post on there as well.  It's good that we can find others who have to deal with similar crap.  Feel free to message me anytime if you feel like you need to talk to someone.  I'm definitely not a therapist, but I've been told that I'm a good listener haha
surrealhopeful:
Thanks! I'd love that. I really don't have anyone to talk to that understands this kind of stuff 😊

The worst season of the year is almost upon us. As the sun gets higher in the sky and the daily temperatures rise, my preferences in metal tend to gravitate more towards doom, black, and a bit of melo-Death (but I listen to that any time of year) Here's a good playlist pulled directly from my Itunes to get you through the long, miserable days

Nice playlist! No song on it that I don't like. :) I tend to shift my preferences towards older Heavy or Death Metal stuff during summer, like the good old Bolt Thrower.
lordhypnos:
Whatever gets you through the heat, my friend. My ultimate summertime band is Intronaut. Pretty much any album from them is a good summer playlist.

I spent six days in Seattle for Spring Break. The day after I finished finals, I hopped on a plane and got the fuck out of the Bay Area. I needed a break from everything, and one of my best friends just happens to live in the Emerald City. So I figured what better way to unwind after what seems like a lifetime of all...

If and when you visit the US, I strongly urge you to visit the West Coast.  We have the best beer, the prettiest scenery, and most importantly, we actually have intelligent life forms!  Stay out of the South and the Midwest...that's where all of the Trump supporters are.
baalseraph:
I'll keep that in mind. :)

I was up until 3am cramming for finals. I only was able to get a few hours of sleep before having to get up and take my first test, so I made a pot of coffee and gulped down three cups while getting ready to leave. When I got to my car, I realized that I was nearly out of gas. Luckily, there are several

I can think of a thousand words to describe how amazing your set was, but I just settled on one: perfection.  You're going to be very popular on this site, I'm sure.
