I love San Francisco!
My visit coincided with the Love parade. It used to be held in Berlin but is now in SF. Heard some really good House Dj's on the floats. People danced drank and smoked weed in everything from funky costumes to buck naked.
Sunday there was the Folsom street fair. It would be better named Leather Fetish fair. Once you have seen...

I saw some sights of SF when I was watching Laguna Beach last night, it always looks so beautiful. I would certainly have moved out there if it wasn't so expensive. Well maybe in the future.

*fingers crossed for you*
scinge:
Welcome to adulthood indeed...

I guess I wouldn't say I'm all grown up, I mean I'm not a stiff. I like to goof off and act like a kid myself... Top it off with a few beers and I can get pretty reckless, heh heh.

Maybe part of it is I just don't have that aclcoholic gene in me and I do manage to hold down a job. Who knows.

Speaking of the J.O.B. Ya get any word yet?
SF always looked pretty cool to me too, never been there though... Vegas is about as close as I've gotten. Wait maybe Tucson, whichever.

Well I made reservations to go to SF. I will be there Wed at noon. biggrin
I am borrowing the denaro from the neighbour lady. I did a bunch of landscaping and the like for hew so it kind of payment. We went out to her farm the other night and I did get to see 2 rattlers. Even from within the truck they instill fear....

GOOD LUCK!!!

**shaking pom-poms for you**

I've moved 4 or 5 times in the past 2 years. Whenever I get somewhere new, after a while I'm all pissed off about one thing or another, then I have to leave because I'm miserable.
I guess it's something inside I need to fix blackeyed

Good Luck!

I played with the coolest fly swatter. Not really a swatter more like a portable zapper. It looked like a badminton racket without the vertical strings. It took 2 double AA batteries and when you contacted the fly it would fry the little bastard. He he.
I think the electric charge messed with there nervous system because it was really easy to hit the flies....

So I'm watching TV with the neighbor and the kitten brings us a piece of molted snake skin. About 6" long and 21/2 " in diameter. That's a big snake. So we grabbed a flashlight and went looking for the rest of it. We found 3 different types of snakes, from 8" to 20" long.

I was trying to get to San Francisco for the...

So you mean there are a bunch of snakes hiding in your neighbors house?? At any given time with no indication other than old skin?

I'd be on edge everytime I was over there. Yikes

Have you been to/lived in SF before? How exciting to be heading there with a one-way ticket.

Can't wait until it's my turn to get away from home.
scinge:
A one way ticket...

I really wish I could find the sack to do that. Close my eyes and put my finger to a map.

Bolt.

Of course, it sounds like you have a pretty definite job waiting for you so... That takes a bit of the edge off smile

Still though, would be fun. A nice, fresh start somewhere new sounds really appealing to me. Always.

Good luck man. Hope to hear it all goes well for ya!

Went down to Lovejoys to have a few beers. A crushing loneliness decended on me.

Maybe it was the beer.

When I drink I get all emotional unless I'm distracted by other things.
scinge:
At least for myself, different types of alcoholic beverages produce different kinds of buzzes and emotional impulses...

Varying degrees of recklessness and mischief, heh heh.

It very well could have been the beer. If not, eh, everyone gets lonely. If you look, my name is carved on THAT table somewhere too.

Went and ate my weight in sushi tonight. I don't have the practice to order an appropriate amount. Its either way too much as tonight or too little. Maybe that's why I like dim sum.

Still getting things to email to CA it takes forever. Should be done and in -e format by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe head out there later in the week. That is,...

God fucking dammit!
I just lost 2 hours work because of a brownout. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck mad
I was on a roll too, in the getting something done zone and pft....

*deep breaths*
Oh well.

I'm better now. smile
scinge:
Dontcha hate that? Your 'in the zone' and getting some stuff done, making some real headway and, whamo!!!

Instant standstill.

I'm such a procrastinator. Partly because I know once I get started on something, I get so involved in it the hours fly by and the next thing I know the weekend (or evening) is gone...

When I finally DO get started on something and get into it, if a roadblock pops up it really pisses me off!

A phone call.

A potty break.

Work.

Eating.

That last beer in the fridge, calling my name...

Such distractions are the reason I'm not ruling Cuba by now...

Is there any thing on PBS except Antiques Road Show?
Seems like that's all there is on anymore.
