Life is never simple is it? 
I went to the interview and it went well. I believe I have the job. Yay...Oh wait they dont know when I would start. They are waiting on city aproval for the project I would be working on. Could come tomorrow could come 2 months from now or longer depending on the City. Ugh!
This puts me in a bad spot. I like them, theyre work, the direction they are heading. The problem is I dont have time to just sit around waiting. I need to be working. The proverbial wolf is at the door. Fuck! Do I just say to hell with it and blitz CA with CV'sand portfolios?
I wouldn't mind being here in Austin for a wile I do like it here, not permanently but a wile. The market for my services is quite small here. There are only 4 or 5 firms I could have a possability of working for so if the work dries up I'm SOL. LA and San Diego have a much bigger market, UCLA and SCIARC are right there #2 and 3 in chioces for Grad school (Cranbrook is #1). LA also has Vis Effects indusrty which is also a possibility and a desire.
I guess to cover my bases, wile I wait continue with the portfolio work and send them off. If this doesent come through or just takes too long I will be covered.
