So things at work have gotten much better. I am no longer surrounded by assholes and am being treated like a human. I refuse to keep my mouth shut when I see tremendous problems with a project. Some one else with much more experience than I, is mirroring my feelings about what is going on.
So far mom is doing OK. The chemo is doing its thing. I am going back to see her over Christmas. Its going to be a hard trip, but I don't know when the last time I will get to see her will be...
My back is getting better. Finally got into see the doctor about my back. Fucking HMO's Went the entire holiday weekend in pain because "the doctor is all booked up" on Wed and Monday. When I was there I was sure to thank those involved.
Still trying to work on my demo reel all the stuff with my mom has pulled a lot of the wind out of my sails though. Maybe I am too soft but those things really effect me.
I saw "Science of Sleep" over the weekend. I identified with the guy, uncomfortably so.

Dude, I kid you not there were HUNDREDS of frogs all over the place just before it dropped FOUR FEET of snow on us here in Central Saanich.
