Title: Stay on the Ground or Take to the Air?
I made a decision about my career. if I don't get any decent employment by the end of summer, i'm going to join the Royal Canadian Air Force.
It's either go to the not so exotic worlds of Afghanistan and Haiti with the Army, or flounder as I try to swim in the Navy.
Doesn't take a genius!
Let us hope it doesn't come to that. I still want to teach English in Japan after all. But the pension is so tempting...
I'm going to attempt to call 'Saleem' today. I spent my workday thinking about how to approach the call. I know her phone number lead to her parent's place. Last I checked, she lived with her parents (though that might have changed over the past 8 months). I just phone, introduce myself, explain my situation, and ask if I can talk to her.
Simple, no?
I hope it is. I'll tell you all about it. I plan on phoning at 21:00 hours. Time for 'Operation Phone Crasher'.
